About

Engineering-first.
Built for practical automation.

Tecobyte Solutions is a Houston-area cloud, AI, and automation engineering company focused on practical business automation.

We work directly with clients to understand a specific operational problem, design and deliver a focused solution, validate that it works, and integrate it with the systems already in use.

Tecobyte is founder-led. When you work with us, you're working directly with the engineer who will design and build your automation—not a salesperson who hands the project off to someone else.

Technical background

Tecobyte's engineering foundation spans cloud infrastructure, AI systems, MLOps, DevOps, and production automation. That experience shapes how we approach business automation: systems should be secure, maintainable, observable, and designed to integrate with real production environments.

Areas of depth
AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway)
AI and machine learning systems (model deployment, inference pipelines)
MLOps and DevOps platforms (CI/CD, IaC with Terraform, monitoring)
Document processing (extraction, classification, comparison, validation)
Secure production environments (IAM, KMS, VPC, CloudWatch, audit logging)
Systems integration (REST APIs, databases, cloud storage, SaaS applications)

How we work

Every engagement follows the same sequence. We don't skip steps or start building before we understand the problem.

1
Understand the workflow
We map exactly what happens today—what documents arrive, what employees do with them, which systems are involved, and where time is lost. We don't start designing until we understand the actual process.
2
Identify repetitive work
Most workflows have a mix of routine steps that follow consistent rules and judgment calls that genuinely require a person. We focus automation on the routine steps and keep humans involved where it matters.
3
Build a focused pilot
We automate one specific workflow at limited scope—usually against historical or sanitized data—so you can evaluate the result without committing to a full production system.
4
Measure the result
Before the pilot, we agree on what success looks like: time per transaction, error rate, volume handled. After the pilot, we compare actual results against your baseline so the value is clear.
5
Productionize if valuable
If the pilot shows clear value, we build out the production system with proper security, integration, logging, and support. If it doesn't, we tell you that too.

How we operate

Honest scoping
We tell you when automation won't help. A pilot that saves nothing is useful information—not a failure.
Small pilots first
We start at limited scope so you can evaluate results before committing to a full system.
No unnecessary complexity
We build what the problem requires. AWS Lambda doesn't need Kubernetes.
Security by default
Handling business documents requires proper access controls, encryption, and audit logging from day one.
Human review where it matters
We don't automate decisions that require accountability. We automate the preparation work around them.
Working with your systems
We integrate around what you already have. Migrations are risk; we avoid them unless necessary.
